Their business is built on a combination of cutting edge technology developed alongside clinical expertise, bringing veterinarian consultations into the digital space, to allow for more cost-effective and quicker service through video calls and online chat options with qualified veterinarians.

The Challenge

With a large remote team spread across 9 countries, Vet-AI needed a streamlined solution for paying employees across the world, all managed from their UK entity, with a singular point of contact, so simplify the headache of multiple in-country providers. We were asked to help simplify their processes and allow them to streamline their internal structure for payroll, as well as assist with paying employees in currencies not native to their country of work. Vet-AI required clear, easy-to-understand reporting that complied with the regulations in each country.

Our Solution

PeoplePay Global became crucial in Vet-AI’s global expansion of employees. After exploring the high costs of using an Employer of Record solution, PeoplePay assisted in setting up foreign registration in 7 countries, as well as one Employer of Record payroll. Our dedicated one-point-of-contact solution allowed us to concurrently set up these payrolls for Vet-AI within six months, as well as produce multi-country guides for the People Team to reference regarding leave, holiday, sickness, parental obligations, and more across the different countries.
